Join Saint Mary’s Relay For Life Team!

Want to find a cure for cancer and support those who have cancer today? Join Saint Mary’s Relay For Life team. Relay For Life begins on Friday, May 29 at 2 p.m. and ends on Saturday, May 30 at 2 p.m. on the Cascade Library Lawn. All proceeds support the American Cancer Society.

With the proceeds from Relay For Life, the American Cancer Society is able to support Hope Lodge, cancer research, and programs such as Look Good, Feel Better, Camp Catch-A-Rainbow, Road to Recovery and Young Survivor Scholarships.

Saint Mary’s Health Care has been involved in Relay For Life for 13 years. Team Captain Coralyn Martinez attributes her passion for cancer to the fact that it’s been a part of her entire life. “I’ve had grandparents, uncles, friends and parents diagnosed with cancer. I’ve seen people go through the worst, and that is exactly what pushes me to be a captain for Saint Mary’s team. I believe we can find a cure. I believe that it is our job to come together and do whatever we can to help survivors.”
